DeSoto County just keeps getting better, doesn’t it? Below are links to recent news shared about our booming businesses.
- Silo Square’s $200 million plan was discussed in an extensive Memphis Business Journal piece. Currently in phase six of an 11-phase plan, the new updates include loft-style apartments, locally owned restaurants and potentially a grocery store.
- The Memphis Business Journal also covered DeSoto County’s growth over the past two decades. New business establishments saw a 150% increase with leisure and hospitality, professional and business services, and education and health services seeing the most advancement.
- DeSoto County News shared that Olive Branch is set to receive a $75,000 electrical upgrade in preparation for a holiday light show. The fantastical experience will be displayed in City Park and visitors can enjoy it from Nov. 22 - Dec. 31.
- Former Memphis Grizzlies star Mike Miller will open his third Let It Fly Sports Bar location at Southaven’s Silo Square. The Commercial Appeal reported the unique dining experience is set to open next summer.
